Treatment Tip
The single most
important part of treating your acne is to stick with your treatment.
You may notice in just over a week that your face and body are
becoming acne free, but stay on the treatment as it takes at least
6-8 weeks to clear up acne entirely. (Note: many red spots where
acne used to be may stay on your body for months)
Finding the right
treatment for your body and skin type is also important. There are
many treatments out there, some better then others. What works
best for you, works best for you so stick with it. Also, no matter
what treatment you are on (unless otherwise specified by your
doctor or dermatologist) washing of your face once in the morning,
and once before bed will help remove excess oil, dead skin and
other free radicals that can harm your skin.
Don't let acne
define you. Remember that who you are goes beyond the condition of
your skin. Smart teens acknowledge the problem, take whatever
action they can to deal with it, and then get on with what really
matters.
